One aspect of photography that I have always enjoyed whether in my own work or that of others is the ambiguity that is sometimes conveyed by an image. The truth of the expression 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' is commonly observed.
I have for some years now photographed nature in its various forms - rock structures, water and other elements that populate the natural world. There have been several individual images which by themselves have demonstrated the abstraction and ambiguity that I found so engaging. And, it is with this motivation that I began this project of producing a single image comprised of many (sometimes more than 20 - otherwise known as multiple exposures). The end result resembled none of the individual originals but were more of a fantasy that drew on the imagination and played with the mind.
